Who you are
- Product management experience, with focus on e-commerce or digital platforms
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing
- Understanding of payment systems and customer journey mapping
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
- Experience working in agile environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in financial services or similar regulated environments is a bonus
What the job involves
- Own and drive the development of IG's e-commerce platforms (website, onboarding experience, payments), focusing on optimising customer conversion, retention, and revenue growth
- You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to provide insights that can make significant commercial impact and be the go-to person for all things data and performance
- Own specific features or components of IG's e-commerce platform
- Develop and execute roadmaps for assigned e-commerce areas
- Analyse customer journeys and identify opportunities for optimisation
- Implement and analyse A/B tests to drive conversion improvements
- Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Monitor and report on key e-commerce metrics and KPIs
- Stay current with e-commerce trends and best practices
- Gather and prioritise requirements based on customer needs and business goals

Founded in 1974 by Stuart Wheeler as a UK-based spread betting company for gold, IG Group abbreviated from Investors Gold Index, spent the first quarter century focused on trading physical assets. It was only in the year 2000 that it was finally listed on the London Stock Exchange and its gradual evolution into the world of fintech began.
By 2011 after various gambling industry-related controversies, the company had played a part in numerous international buyouts before finally narrowing its focus down to financial wagers. During the latter half of that decade, IG shut down its binary options trading platform and focused instead on building an investment portfolio with partner BlackRock Investments, all whilst maintaining its Forex and CFD trading processes. Since then, it has become a fast-paced market leader in the investment space.
In recent years, IG Group has developed major platforms for various trading actions and has grown profit and revenue significantly despite various investment setbacks. Thanks to its agility and reaction speed to changing financial tides, it's proven itself to be a staple of the financial trading world.
