Who you are
- A successful Enterprise AE is coachable, receptive to feedback, has a willingness to learn and is open to embracing continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills, a strong technical aptitude, a high attention to detail and a natural ability to convey and relate ideas to others are required for this role
- In this high-energy role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment and be flexible with changing processes
- 5+ years of Enterprise sales experience required, preferably in SaaS or physical operations industries
- Repeated success in an Enterprise Sales role - strong track record of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing your book over time, backed up by data
- Strong ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers, influencing outcomes through both an understanding of the customer’s business and the unique solutions that Motive can deliver
- History of working independently with a data-driven mindset for charting a path to short, medium, and long-term sales goals
- Best-in-class communication skills, with the ability to successfully convey key value propositions and handle objections
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools

What the job involves
- The Enterprise Account Executive is a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing net-new business and expanding our offering with current customers
- Our Enterprise AEs have a strong ownership attitude and are responsible for end-to-end sales
- Prospect and win new Enterprise business through developing key executive relationships, ensuring RFP wins and growing share of wallet by understanding each client’s business and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration
- Partner with your team and internal counterparts, leveraging customer analytics and other available resources to optimise buying decisions
- Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically to determine the optimal course of action, and implementing best available solutions
- Demonstrate excellence in listening, sales process, and a passion for the art of selling
- Effectively plan to meet and exceed your ongoing business goals and revenue quotas
- Develop a deep understanding of our technology platform and operations, using that understanding and market input to bring back iterations to our business
- Constantly study and deepen understanding of company goals and market trends to enable consultative insight

Trucking is a huge but fragmented industry that was largely ignored by Silicon Valley until companies such as Motive (formerly KeepTruckin) came along. The integrated fleet management platform acts as air traffic control for trucks, bringing drivers online and into the 21st century.
The company offers both hardware and software solutions to freight companies, allowing them to manage their fleet and keep their drivers safe. One of these solutions is an AI-powered dashcam that detects unsafe driving behavior in real time and instantly alerts the driver.
The platform, which is used by over 120,000 companies, from small businesses to Fortune 500 enterprises, received series F funding in 2022, which is being used to accelerate its investment in AI, expand its product offerings into spend management, and grow its enterprise capabilities.
