What the job involves

PlayStation is seeking a Sr Director, Talent Acquisition leader to help evolve PlayStation TA and redefine the way we recruit talent into the PlayStation community
The position will be responsible for defining and implementing our AMER/EMEA Talent Acquisition Strategy, building strong partnerships with key customers across the globe, leading our early career and intern programs, directing our Global Contingent Worker program and driving the delivery of best-in-class TA Operations including but not limited to, programs, training, reporting and processes
With both a strategic lens and passion for detail, you lead people and bring a servant leadership approach to bear
Design and implement strategic, data-driven recruitment initiatives to support all divisions within SIE, with a primary focus on Corporate and Engineering in AMER and EMEA
Collaborate closely with Executives and partners to provide thought leadership for recruiting philosophies, processes, tools and tactics for both executive and non-executive talent acquisition needs
Build a data-driven recruiting organization and process, including analytics, and dashboards, using an existing ATS, and a culture of continuous improvement using data insights to shape our operational roadmap and priorities
Create training programs and ways of working with hiring managers and interviewers that continually improve their capabilities
Partner with HR leaders and hiring managers across businesses to deliver exceptional recruiting services in support of the overall objective to recruit top talent
Partner with leaders to drive recruiting-related initiatives that make SIE a great place to work for all talent
Ensure that all managers receive training on recruitment and selection process, including record keeping requirements
Develop and implement Strategic Growth projects in support of long-term vision goals
Drive our Global Contingent Worker program and best practices in this space
Benchmark industry competitors introducing intelligence into the ways of working and overall operation to drive success
Identify trade and professional conferences to strategically recruit and brand the SIE business in the marketplace
Handle various talent acquisition vendors including recruiting agencies, background check service, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor

Its consoles are iconic in the gaming community - PlayStation has produced both the top-selling and fastest-selling console of all time - and the company is still pushing boundaries. Its current flagship - the PS5 - promises to revolutionise gaming, featuring new technology that will create improvements across the board.

As well as its consoles, PlayStation has also developed online services, connecting its users and giving them access to diversified media. A PlayStation can be used for a huge range of activities - from Netflix to guided workouts - which has led to the expansion of the company's audience over time and across generations.

PlayStation faces competition in its field from the likes of Microsoft, with its Xbox range, and PC gaming, which has been becoming more popular in recent years. Regardless, PlayStation shows no signs of slowing down. The upcoming implementation of in-game ads in free games looks to significantly increase revenue, and the wider PlayStation gaming experience also appears to be evolving from plans to launch live service games in upcoming years.
