Who you are
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Graduating in Summer 2026 only)
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- An understanding of electronic systems and how how to setup and debug them
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

Desirable
- Experience on a collegiate vehicle team (e.g., FSAE, Solar Car, or similar)
- Foundational knowledge of automotive electronics (schematic reading, network topology, or system architecture)
- Familiarity with electronic control systems and debugging tools (embedded systems, Arduino, etc.)
- Experience developing firmware for automotive subsystems such as lighting, latches, lock motors, powertrain, or mechanical systems
What the job involves
- We’re looking for Software Integration Engineers who are curious, eager to learn, and excited to deliver impactful features for our newest products
- In this role, you’ll work across software and hardware systems to ensure seamless full-system integration for customer delivery
- Deliver full-system, application-level software features spanning both software and hardware in C/C++, meeting customer requirements
- Develop end-to-end software integrations in C/C++, including applications such as: matrix headlight control, smart vehicle access via mobile app integration, in-car voice assistant functionality, etc
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems that enable custom software feature integration for intelligent vehicles
- Build a deep understanding of automotive system architecture and the interactions between software and hardware components
- Design and bring up test rigs for end-to-end system testing and on-vehicle validation
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot integrations between various software components to ensure reliability and system performance

Applied Intuition provides software to run simulations and tests for autonomous vehicles more quickly and effectively, speeding up the development and launch of AVs for multiple industries.
With big companies such as Tesla and Google focused on developing automation, Applied Intuition has the scope to provide the software that makes it a reality. The company’s suite of simulation, validation, and drive log management software aids in the more efficient deployment of autonomous vehicles, with companies such as Toyota, Nissan, and General Motors relying on its solutions.
As the autonomous vehicles market accelerates, Applied Intuition is well set for growth, especially as it continues to expand its capabilities. Notable developments include the acquisitions of CarSim, Scenebox and Embark Trucks, as well as partnerships with AMBA and Valeo. All these efforts seek to bolster the company's offering towards supporting the faster and safer deployment of AVs, whilst a $600 million Series F round awarded in 2025 will go towards its next phase of product development, alongside key hires across its product team.
