Who you are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation testing with a focus on web-based applications and RESTful APIs and a good experience in manual testing
- Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Ruby or JavaScript
- Experience working in any automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with Postgres, Spark and Kafka
- Good Experience in writing SQL queries and database testing
Desirable
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques such as Jmeter
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with security testing and vulnerability scanning tools
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Previous experience in financial technology
- Experience in testing Cryptocurrency or trading platforms
What the job involves
- Are you a highly skilled QA Engineer with experience in building and maintaining automation in CI/CD pipelines and manual testing? Do you have a track record of developing and implementing automated/manual testing processes and ensuring that all changes to software are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment?
- Are you comfortable working closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products? If so, we're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our New York team
- Develop and implement manual/automated testing processes to ensure that changes to our software are thoroughly tested and validated
- Build and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines that are fast, reliable, and secure
- Work with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all changes to our software are properly tested and vetted before deployment
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Continuously improve our testing and deployment processes, including building out our deployment gatekeeping process
- Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our CI/CD pipeline and deployment gatekeeping process
- Analyze test results, metrics, and quality trends to provide feedback to the development team
- Develop and maintain documentation related to our CI/CD pipeline and deployment gatekeeping process
- Test the trading platform and our different client offerings
