Role
Who you are
- Proven experience in IT engineering or systems administration
- Hands-on experience with: Azure Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Purview
- Strong understanding of identity governance, conditional access, and endpoint security
- Familiarity with both Windows and MacOS environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with Cisco Meraki networking solutions
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and automate business workflows
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
What the job involves
- The IT Specialist Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable IT infrastructure
- This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies and a proactive approach to supporting business operations and end-user productivity
- The engineer will also drive cross-functional projects with a strong focus on helping adjacent teams automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Lead the deployment and management of Microsoft Intune for device lifecycle management across Windows and Mac environments
- Administer and optimize Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) for identity and access management
- Implement and monitor endpoint protection using Microsoft Defender XDR
- Support data governance and compliance initiatives using Microsoft Purview
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco Meraki environment
- Drive cross-functional IT projects, collaborating with teams across the organization to automate workflows and streamline processes
- Define and track KPIs for IT performance, including onboarding readiness and system health
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior IT staff
