Role
Who you are
- You’re a Product Manager with demonstrable experience managing end-to-end product development lifecycles from scoping to delivery and post-launch support and iteration following an Agile methodology
- You make things happen. You’re hands on when it comes to product discovery and delivery. You do everything you can to make sure our products are successful and know when to ask for help to achieve success
- You’ve got experience or knowledge of working with multi-channel marketing software, and any of the channels listed above
- You’ve got experience of building relationships with customers, partners, customer-facing teams, sales teams, engineers and more
- You have excellent written and verbal skills, you evangelize your goals to help others understand and work with you to achieve success, and you’re able to have honest, productive conversations
- You’re super organised and have experience of working in cross-functional engineering teams to execute a product roadmap, and always communicate clearly when there are roadblocks
- You’re a problem-solver who can also bring together the people and knowledge to solve complex, sometimes technical, problems and ensure successful outcomes for Dotdigital and our customers
- You’ve got great ownership skills, get valuable things done, and you focus on producing value over just following processes or the latest product framework
What the job involves
- The Product Manager will join the Experiences Pod in Dotdigital’s product team, dedicated to helping businesses provide next-level customer experiences with great software. You’ll support Dotdigital’s product strategy and focus on expanding the breadth and depth of our most-loved marketing and service channels, including but not limited to:
- HTML Email, Forms and Pop-ups
- Real-time Web personalization
- SMS, MMS & RCS
- WhatsApp, LINE, and Viber
- Web and Mobile Push
- You’ll work across all of our products including Dotdigital, Fresh Relevance (our advanced personalization platform) and our Enterprise CPaaS product
- Add value and subtract complexity in your given area of ownership whilst supporting Dotdigital’s product strategy to ensure we meet our product goals
- Collaborate with your colleagues and engineering team to conduct varied, continuous discovery and unearth opportunities that have an impact
- Prioritize what matters, whilst keeping an eye on the future and be ready to change tact when it makes sense to do so
- Partner with engineers, UX designers, and relevant stakeholders to test assumptions, hone in on potential solutions and iterate
- Track success - or failure - and be unafraid to share learnings and give your informed opinion on when to pivot or drive forward
- Make recommendations on pricing and packages and test willingness to pay to inform your approach where needed
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop the launch narrative for any solutions you’re launching publicly
- Be the driving force for the end-to-end product development lifecycle for your area of responsibility, from concept to launch, including working with engineering teams within an Agile framework
