Role
Who you are
- 3-8 years' experience marketing a strong brand, including being the first or second marketer at an early-stage startup
- You're confident using data, whether it's to understand users or track if your efforts are delivering value
- You have a track record of exceptional performance, whether it’s in academia, work, sport, or whatever else you’ve put your mind to
What the job involves
- You’ll be our sixth team member - so you’ll get exposure to all parts of an early-stage startup, and play a huge part in shaping your role and the company
- You'd own and play the lead role in tackling one of our biggest aims - being top of mind when SMBs begin their software discovery journey
- You'll have freedom to experiment with different channels, but this role will best suit someone whose superpower is Content & SEO
Application process
- 1st call with Paddy (CEO). We’ll begin by having a short, informal discussion about your experiences, values, and career goals, and give you an opportunity to learn about our ambitious goals, and how you’ll contribute to them. You’ll have the chance to ask any questions about Stackfix as a business
- Talent Assessment - We’ll invite you to complete a short online exercise that tests a few things that will be valuable for the role
- 2nd call with Paddy or Camin (CTO). A second call where we’ll discuss one of our current marketing challenges, and get your thoughts on it. This will introduce you to the type of things you might be working on, and be a vehicle for us to both learn more about each other
- In person co-work. We’ll invite you to our central London office to work with us (paid) for roughly half-a-day. In some exceptional cases we might ask you to do a remote work assessment instead of an in-office trial. You’ll complete actual sprint work (nothing fictitious!). Feel free to ask questions - you’re our colleague for the day
- Offer. We’ll make you an offer and look forward to having you join us!

At Stackfix’s core is an AI system that automatically understands software products, and then provides personalized advice to users. Its initial focus is Sales and HR software, and Stackfix effectively acts as a product purchase advisor.
Stackfix’s target clients are companies without the in-house technical expertise to make these software purchase decisions quickly and effectively on their own. Its approach is certainly intriguing, but it remains to be seen if it can compete with larger product reviewers and platforms.
