Who you are
- You’re an ambitious professional who’s built data systems from the ground up in rapidly scaling organizations
- You have the commercial sense to understand what data is important and why, as well as the technical chops to wrangle things into shape to be useful for the business
- You’re excited to apply these skills in a mission-driven company, and will have the following
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Data Experience: 5+ years experience in designing, developing and maintaining cloud-based data solutions
- Skills & Expertise: Communication, leadership, project management, data architecture, SQL, Python, object-oriented languages, strong competencies in data structures, distributed systems, and system design
What the job involves
- You will play a key role in leveling up our data quality, storage, and accessibility - transforming our ways of operating to enable us to make better decisions and help an increasing number of people around the world
- Vision & Execution: Proactively drive BI and Data Warehousing vision & strategy across product & business verticals
- Architecture Development: Develop Reporting & Analytics Architecture and systems across enterprise and business applications
- Data Management: Drive design, build, and launch of new data models and pipelines
- Dashboard Delivery: Manage delivery of impactful dashboards and data visualizations
- SLA Management: Define and manage SLAs for all data sets and processes in production
- Tool Development: Guide development of data tools for transformation and access
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data validation techniques and ensure data quality
- Relationship Building: Build cross-functional relationships to understand data needs and deliver solutions
- Governance & Compliance: Identify governance needs, design data handling processes and procedures for compliance
- Advisory Role: Serve as advisor on business and information integration strategies
- Team Building: Build a high-quality BI and Data Warehousing team designed for scalability
Our take
The quantified self movement is gaining momentum, especially in the health and fitness sector. Wearable health monitors, sleep trackers, and genetic testing have all firmly entered the mainstream, and body MRI scanning service Prenuvo is taking this concept to the next level. Prenuvo’s whole body diagnostic imaging offers customers a comprehensive picture of their body, whilst screening for 500+ major conditions and cancers.
The medical benefits of approaching these diseases proactively, as opposed to reactively, are substantial. Customers will be able to catch warning signs early, meaning treatment is likely to be less invasive, with a higher success rate. Unfortunately North America, like many regions, has yet to make substantial investments in preventative healthcare. This just makes companies like Prenuvo, and the VCs who fund them, increasingly necessary.
This funding, however has been substantial, and having closed multiple funding rounds, the company is now setting its sights on Europe. The opening of its first London clinic marks the start of that expansion, brining Prenuvo's full-body MRI services to a new market with high demand for early detection and diagnostic imaging. With plans to evaluate additional cities across the continent, the company is in a position to grow its international presence.
