- You have a strong grasp of LinkedIn, X, and emerging social platforms
- You’re analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented
- You stay ahead of the trends and best practices in social and content
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple stakeholders
- You have a deep understanding & fluency of the English language, with the ability to leverage tone, nuance, and wordplay effectively across different contexts
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Content and Social Media Manager to lead our social media and content strategy, playing a key role in driving brand awareness, engagement, and thought leadership in the food tech and AI space
- Own and execute Choco’s LinkedIn company page strategy, positioning Choco as a leader in the AI/footech space while driving demand generation for Choco technology products and services
- Develop and implement strategies to grow our followers and reach within our target Distributor ICP using both paid and organic methods
- Craft and execute a tailored influencer and partner engagement strategy
- Develop compelling and high-quality content, including web copy, email copy, written posts, articles, videos, and LinkedIn Reels
- Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging brand storytelling
- Work alongside the design teams to create visually appealing content that resonates with our audience
- Directly support the CEO in increasing his LinkedIn and X presence through engaging posts, networking strategies, and direct outreach to industry leaders
- Help automate and streamline social interactions, including personalized connection requests and post scheduling
- Ensure a consistent and best practice proactive and reactive social rhythm
- Set and track KPIs for audience growth, engagement, and content performance
- Leverage paid media strategies to amplify organic efforts
- Experiment with new formats and trends to stay ahead of the evolving social media landscape
Our take
The restaurant industry has seen vast technological innovations throughout the last decade, yet the state of supply chain ordering and administration does not reflect this. Restaurants are still using archaic paperwork to order from suppliers, and this has the tendency to become clunky, inaccurate, and result in food waste. Choco exists to improve this situation by connecting restaurants and suppliers through its food ecosystem management software.
Choco isn't the only company to notice the potential for disruption in this space, but it has taken a unique approach by providing bespoke inventory applications and analytical tools to both restaurants and suppliers. It has a large and rapidly growing userbase and its supply chain now links more than 30,000 businesses, with more than £1.2 billion in goods traded on its platform.
Choco raised large amounts of capital in several funding rounds and achieved unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1 billion. It has eyes on expansion, currently working with clients across the U.S. and Europe but planning to begin operations in South America, the Middle East, and Asia in the near future.
