Who you are
- 4+ years of professional development experience, mostly focused on mobile work
- 2+ years of experience with mobile app development (Android, iOS, React Native, etc.)
- 2+ years of React Native or React experience

What the job involves
- As a Software Engineer on Upstart’s mobile team, you will have an opportunity to make an outsized impact on the company
- In this role, you’ll be working on both Android & iOS using React Native, as well as building new features end to end
- You will get the opportunity to build a lot of new features from scratch and help onboard the rest of the org as we become a mobile-first company
- Design and build new Mobile app features
- Enhance user outcomes by improving the borrower experience as well as creating a delightful new user flow
- Expand our company’s reach by developing the Android app
- Collaborate with our PM & UX to create innovative mobile experiences
- Set up the technical foundation for the company on how to successfully build mobile app features
- Contribute to quality improvements within our team in a meaningful way
