Role
Who you are
- The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic and growing environment
- Experience of working in growth product manager roles developing complex products or services that have significant consumer reach, with a focus on growth, engagement, and retention
- Experience of developing and implementing complex products or services aligned to a wider organisation or company-wide vision/goal
- Experience of coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve a shared goal, ideally in a challenging stakeholder environment with competing business priorities
- Solid technical/software development background and experience of delivering complex platform and product solutions to an agreed schedule, ideally with distributed teams
- Data-driven, with experience establishing mechanisms to track qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure and monitor product success and impact on end users
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with an understanding about how to influence, facilitate decision-making and bring people together to align on a shared goal or objective
- A tenacious and collaborative approach to problem solving, the curiosity and intellect to explore ideas and opportunities, and inspire product teams and achieve delivery targets
- Ability to work in an environment of change - comfortable navigating shifting priorities and requirements
- Passionate about taking a user-centred approach to product development
- Mindful of compliance requirements and ideally experience of developing digital products in a highly regulated environment
What the job involves
- We are looking for a mission-driven Senior Product Manager to lead user growth and engagement efforts for our digital health platform, serving patients, healthcare professionals, or health research participants
- This role is critical in helping us scale meaningful impact across large and diverse populations by improving how individuals discover, access, and engage with our products and services
- You will work at the intersection of product, marketing, and clinical/research operations to design and execute strategies that drive sustained user engagement while upholding trust, privacy, and equity
- Your ability to align product experiences with health outcomes or research goals will be key
- Develop and execute data-informed growth and engagement strategies tailored to health users or research participants
- Collaborate closely with marketing and communications teams on outreach, education, and retention initiatives that meet regulatory and ethical standards
- Design frictionless, compliant user journeys that support enrolment, activation, and longitudinal engagement
- Run structured experiments and analyse behavioural data to identify and scale what works
- Partner with clinical, legal, and operations teams to ensure all product touchpoints reflect accuracy, empathy, and regulatory compliance

Our take
Millions of people spend too much of their life with poor health, with medical professionals only able to treat diseases when symptoms start to present. But what if later-life diseases could be prevented earlier through a better understanding of public health? Our Future Health is a ground-breaking new study, aiming to collect a blood sample and a short questionnaire from 5 million members of the British public.
One of the two major strands of genomic study in the UK (the other is the Newborn Genomes Program which will be running in parallel), Our Future Health is set to become the largest health research program in the world. With funding from government and the private sector (with particular interest from pharmaceutical investors) it will cement Britain's reputation as a world leader in genomics, and is expected to lead to major advances in the fight against obesity, diabetes, heart disease and other causes of poor health.
Aside from looking for volunteers for the study, Our Future Health is also seeking engineering talent to help build the infrastructure that will gather, analyse and protect the research data. It will be exciting to see how this charity develops and what discoveries emerge from its data in the future.
