Role
Who you are
- We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Venue People Operations Intern to join our Hollywood Park venue's team
- Junior or Senior at the start of the program
- Available to work on-site at the Cosm venue (hybrid)
- Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Interest in immersive technology and content
What the job involves
- This internship offers hands-on experience in various People Operations functions including Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Training & Development, all relating to our one-of-a-kind Cosm venues and providing an opportunity to learn about the dynamic field of human resources within a fast-paced and supportive environment
- Assist in completing new hire paperwork and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain and update employee records and databases
- Assist with HR-related correspondence, including offer letters, employment verifications, and other documents
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Handle inquiries from employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general questions
- Help organize employee appreciation events and activities to promote a positive work culture
- Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Support HR audits and maintain documentation for compliance purposes
- Generate HR reports and metrics as needed for analysis and decision-making
- Assist with job postings and manage job boards
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Assist with recruitment materials and events
- Help facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation processes
- Support HR initiatives related to staff events and training sessions
