- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced customer service position

What the job involves
- Our Customer Service Representative role is a phone-based position based out of our Monument office, and will act as the first point of contact between Splend and our amazing customers, with the overarching goal of providing exceptional support, and timely issue resolution
- Deliver an all-around, best in class customer service experience
- Efficiently resolve customer issues, complaints, and inquiries achieving above average levels of customer satisfaction
- Effectively de-escalate situations and deliver meaningful solutions
- Ensure that detailed notes are recorded in our CRM system after each interaction
- Proactively identify and anticipate customer needs, ensuring regulatory compliance and business governance standards are consistently met
- Build strong, lasting relationships by consistently engaging with customers and going above and beyond to meet their needs, ensuring they feel valued and supported at every interaction
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet and exceed personal and team targets, driving overall success through teamwork and shared goals
- Hours:
- Day shift: 7am – 6pm, Monday - Sunday (on a shift rota)

Our take
Splend was launched with the intention of letting anyone generate an income by driving for Uber, even if they don't own a car. They now own thousands of vehicles across the world, which they rent to people so they can drive for ride-sharing companies.
Splend piggy-backed off the growth of ride-sharing companies, mainly Uber, which enabled it to attract significant investment. Even though the ride-sharing market is starting to wane in popularity, the industry is stilll filled with well-backed companies, and Splend has ridden this wave to becoming a self-sustaining company.
Splend has now moved on to explore other gig economy opportunities like food and parcel delivery, as well as shifting focus to electric and hybrid cars to support the green transition. Recently, it received a grant from the Clean Energy Financing Corporation (CEFC) that will be used to double the number of EVs in its fleet.
