What the job involves
- We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Weymouth Risk and Compliance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract
- As a Junior Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our Risk & Compliance strategy, ensuring adherence to policies and legislation from both our suppliers and colleagues
- In this role, you will be responsible for providing reliable and timely reporting on various compliance areas, including travel & expenses, contracts, supplier risk, spend management, and off-payroll workers
- Additionally, you will support other key programs within the Risk & Compliance team and assist with line management
- Deliver monthly reports to key stakeholders on governance activities using PBI, covering areas such as:
- Travel and Expenses
- Contract Coverage
- Supplier Spend
- Supplier Risk (Modern Slavery, Financial Risk, Supplier Security)
- ESG Data Consolidation
- Off Payroll Workers
- Lead key projects within the team
- Streamline processes for improved efficiency
- Oversee Group Travel and Expenses, ensuring cost-effective bookings and policy compliance
- Support the transition to the new TMC
- Manage the Group Company Expenses System and Corporate Card Program, including auditing and compliance
- Lead, coach, and develop 2 direct reports

In line with these efforts, New Look has partnered with blockchain traceability startup TrusTrace to enhance transparency in its supply chain. The collaboration supports the company's ambitious sustainability targets, including a 46% reduction in carbon emissions by 2031 and achieving Net Zero by 2040.
