- 2+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or a related B2B role
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with marketing automation, CRM tools (HubSpot a plus), and analytics platforms
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms is a plus
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and open to travel as needed
What the job involves
- Betterment’s B2B Marketing Team is seeking a driven marketer to aid in the production and execution of events for our rapidly growing B2B business lines
- As a Sr. Event Marketing Associate, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing events that drive engagement, generate leads, and strengthen relationships with partners and clients
- This position spans both Betterment at Work and Betterment Advisor Solutions
- This person will work to ensure that events are in alignment with each business line’s unique goals and will report to the Senior Event Marketing Manager
- Support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, including trade shows, conferences, and hosted experiences
- Collaborate with internal teams to align event strategies with business objectives and brand messaging
- Manage event logistics, budgets, and timelines while coordinating with external vendors and venues
- Assist in developing event materials, including invitations, landing pages, presentations, and follow-up communications
- Partner with sales and demand generation teams to drive registration, tailor audience messaging, and maximize engagement
- Act as an on-site or virtual point of contact during events, ensuring smooth execution and troubleshooting as needed
- Assist with compiling event reports with actionable insights and recommendations for future improvements

- On average, it takes us around 3-5 weeks to make a hiring decision, depending on your availability and sense of urgency
- As a best practice, we aim to interview at least 2-3 final round candidates before making a hiring decision
