Who you are
- The ideal candidate has a high level of emotional intelligence, a passion for pairing top talent to the right opportunities, and thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment. - 3+ years of experience recruiting technical and/or sales (preferably with 1+ of those years in an internal recruiting capacity)
- Proficiency in ATS systems (Greenhouse preferred) and other sourcing/scheduling/recruiting tools
- Strong time management, prioritization, and results-driven mentality
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality work
- Willingness to go above and beyond to create a candidate-centric recruiting experience
What the job involves
- This position will be a 3-5 month contract to hire
- Zerocater is looking for our next talent team member to help grow and scale our sales, client success, operations, and engineering teams and provide a world-class candidate experience
- You’ll be a full-cycle recruiting swiss army knife while playing the role of a strategic business advisor to stakeholders across different departments to improve processes and to ensure we are hiring the right talent. Hiring is a top initiative and you will be able to make an impact that is felt company-wide
- Our Talent Acquisition Specialist is seen as a respected subject matter expert invested in candidate experience and creating partnership to increase our confidence in hiring as we enter a pivotal growth phase
- Source and build a pipeline of qualified candidates across different roles employing creativity to scour multiple channels for talent across operations, technical and non-technical roles
- Engage with candidates to create a positive experience at every step in the process (sourcing, screening, scheduling, offers, onboarding, etc.)
- Partner with hiring managers to improve time to hire, candidate experience, and offer acceptance rate
- Leverage data and metrics to validate recruiting success and identify opportunities for improvement
- Be a culture leader and advocate for Zerocater and contribute to employer branding initiatives
Our take
It is common knowledge that food can affect mood, so Zerocater is aiming to build better company cultures through catering. Initially known for bringing restaurant food to offices for lunch, the company now offers digital corporate cafes, hybrid cafes, managed cafes, and events catering for companies.
Zerocater's focus on customizability and work culture has given it an edge over food delivery services like DoorDash and Deliveroo. Its AI "FoodIQ" tech helps clients to offer tailored options for their workers' tastes, and its cafe services ensure high catering standards across larger groups. In a hugely crowded market, Zerocater operates in a sufficiently specific niche that could see them grow fast as the sector develops.
On the back of capitalizing on the return to the office, additional funds secured will allow it to double down with the widening of its geographic footprint. It also plans to invest in expanding its digital cafe services, alongside developing improvements to its analytics and AI, that will ensure product utility into the future.
