Role

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance needed
  • 8+ years’ of relevant experience to include accounting/finance leadership in a global environment
  • Must have experience working as a Controller in a global context and leading a team with direct supervisory responsibility
  • ERP Implementation preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government regulations as well as international finance and accounting regulations
  • Strong understanding and experience working with analytical tools to organize, analyze and report on accounting data in a summarized and comprehensive manner
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional analytical and innovative problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, including recruiting, training, and development of staff

What the job involves

  • Direct, support, and where necessary, perform the duties of general and international accounting, multi-entity consolidation, internal and external financial reporting, budgeting and analysis, and cash management
  • Ensure the integrity of financial systems and data for all internal and external financial reporting; be part of a ERP implementation project team
  • Manage the annual external audit and ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), as well as applicable regulatory and governance requirements in foreign locations
  • Report on global daily cash balances & collections and maintain a 13 week cash flow and monthly cash forecasts
  • Collaborate with and support the development, implementation, and oversight of required financial systems, policies, procedures, and internal controls on a global basis
  • Assess and oversee the overall management reporting system in order to comprehensively record, close and report on each accounting period in a timely manner
  • Continuously assess and evaluate the organizations internal controls around key business processes and significant classes of transactions at the country level as well as the transactions between foreign countries and US Corporate
