Our take

Currently with offices in Austria, Germany, North America and Switzerland, the ever-expanding CrateDB has developed a database platform that stores and retrieves structured and unstructured data regardless of the shape, an alternative to relational databases.

The global data analytics market is expected to exceed $300B by 2030, and CrateDB is well positioned to grow during this period. In 2021, funding supported CrateDB’s ecosystem functionality, partner integrations, and open-source developer community.

Indeed, the company extended its database service to Google Cloud in 2022. This was the last of the ‘big three ’-Google Cloud, AWS and Microsoft Azure - to adopt its services. This integration essentially ensures that potential users don’t need to look very far to find the company’s database.
