We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum ($84,200) and the midpoint ($105,200) of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum (126,200) of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio + Uncapped commission

What the job involves

Our Account Executive, Canada Mid-Market team is rapidly growing in a relatively untapped market and focused on driving Clio value for larger law firms
They generate pipeline, discover opportunities, evaluate technical product fit, and partner towards solutions to complex problems leveraging Solution Engineers and our Channel
They are human and high performing; while also working cross-functionally to drive Clio’s development of a leading cloud based solution for mid-market firms
Strategically work qualified opportunities through 3-12 month deal cycles
Work closely with a dedicated BDR to hunt and prospect for new opportunities
Methodically manage an sales pipeline and forecast in SFDC
Skillfully qualify product fit in discovery calls, deliver value based demonstrations, while leveraging strong product knowledge and inside sales best practices
Work with Solution Engineers, Channel Partners, Product and CS to provide solutions to customers
Develop business cases for prospects, compelling events and negotiate deal closures
Comfortably navigate through multiple decision makers including large partnership groups & C-Suite executives to secure all approvals
Consistently exceed your annual sales quota and be well-compensated for doing so

Our take

Modern law firms increasingly manage their work digitally but the lack of a specialised remote solution means that workflows have become fragmented. This leads to legal practice managers having to juggle multiple software solutions across various devices.

Clio provides a legal practice management platform designed for law firms, allowing users to manage billing for legal aid cases, access and manage documents and store files across multiple devices. Whilst other startups are operating in this niche, Clio has uniquely focussed on synchronisation across remote devices and on a wide range of integrations, allowing the user to access information from other industry standard software such as Xero and Klyant from within a single interface.

Clio has raised a large amount of investment capital, most recently in a 2021 Series E round which saw the company attain unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1 billion. This funding is being used to accelerate its product development, hire additional talent, and for expansion into new markets with a focus on the EMEA region, particularly the UK and Ireland.
