- Experienced in sourcing and pipeline management using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Built In, and Workday (required)
- Comfortable recruiting across time zones and geographies

What the job involves
- We’re building new teams, expanding our reach, and we are hiring a recruiter who can not only keep pace but help lead the charge
- We’re looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join the People team and play a key role in driving that growth
- As part of the team, you will join a collaborative, solutions-oriented group that partners closely with leaders to ensure we’re building not just quickly - but wisely
- You’ll be responsible for more than just filling roles: your work will directly shape the future of our company
- You’ll own full-cycle recruiting, partner closely with hiring managers across the company, help shape our hiring strategy, identify top talent, and ensure candidates have a clear, consistent experience from start to finish
- Manage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles, supporting teams throughout the business as we continue to grow
- Source and engage candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, and track progress through our applicant tracking system
- Review inbound and sourced talent with a focus on quality, alignment, and long-term potential
- Ensure consistency in candidate communication and feedback across every stage of the process
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, shape interview plans, and align on decision-making
- Track and analyze key recruiting metrics to inform process improvements, ensure quality hiring and influence hiring decisions
- Conduct interviews, lead candidate debriefs, and support offer strategy and negotiation
- Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with all candidates, including those not moving forward
- Partner with the recruiting coordinator to handle scheduling and logistics
- Support broader strategic efforts across the People team to improve recruiting processes, tools, and overall efficiency
Our take
Many Americans with below average credit scores are caught in a bind: they're unable to improve their score, and simultaneously cannot access traditional loans. Avant's alternative is to offer credit options that are powered by machine learning and based upon a large database that helps to manage risk.
For its users, the company offers a quick credit decision and speedy access to any allotted funds. It has issued over $8 billion in loans to date, and has also expanded its business through the acquisitions of ReadyForZero in 2015 and Zero Financial in 2021.
This expansion has enabled Avant to reach towards its goal of offering a whole suite of products in a single platform, such as loans, credit cards, and deposits. Although there are many FinTechs looking at ways to remove the barriers that people with low credit scores face when trying to take out loans, this expansion to banking products should help Avant to stand out.
