Who you are
- You are fluent in English. French is a plus.
- You are based in Europe.
- You have exceptional leadership and your current team can acknowledge it.
- 1st experience in managing a team of 3 salespeople and more.
- Strong commercial & enterprise profile, with proven experience in signing > 100K€ ARR deals.
- Significant experience & network in the Adtech industry (Publishers, Monetization & Ad ops teams).
- Familiar with sales methodologies such as Meddic or Spin selling to bring expertise on how to optimize our sales funnel and the customer journey, in particular, our qualification approach
- You have experience in managing CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce
- You have outstanding analytical skills and you value listening more than talking. Understanding customers’ pain points drives you and you always find a way to provide solutions.
- An experience at the European level is a plus (DACH, Benelux, UK, Southern Europe, Nordics)
- You are a pedagogue and have a mentor mindset

What the job involves
- Coach & mentor a team of 4 AE (which is our targeted organization within 6 months)
- Support the sales team in managing their pipeline from prospection to closing, preparing meetings & building their Monthly / Quarterly Business Review
- Contribute to the team’s deals as needed to ensure sales velocity and closing
- Have the opportunity to lead some strategic deals for Pubstack
- Manage the sales team rhythm of business & ensure effective internal alignment and collaboration
- Report sales activity to the Management team and ensure sales forecast accuracy
- Optimize our sales processes, sales funnel (customer touchpoints), and reporting framework
- Become a Pubstack's platform expert. Help customers and your team make full use of the functionalities.
- Lead Territory Mapping initiatives: support the sales team in creating their sales action plan and adapting their strategy in a continuous way
- Set ambitious targets, a commission plan, and a performance management plan.
- Engage with other teams at Pubstack to ensure alignment towards our goals :
- Marketing: participate in the optimization of internal collaboration routine & contribute to defining marketing roadmap (content, event, outbound & inbound strategy)
- Customer team: work with the CS team to define our upsell strategy and optimize CS X Sales collaboration, especially with the Pre Sales Engineers in the context of trials and customer onboarding
- Product: provide the Product team with the customer and market information needed to improve our products and adapt our priority integrations by evaluating their business potential
- Be a member of the Management Committee
- Contribute to the company’s strategic plan, decision, and cross-team alignment
- (co)Build and (co)execute the plan that supports the Pubstack committed strategy
- Sync all stakeholders, and co-own all issues, problems, and successes that we face as Pubstack
- Be responsible for presenting your bi-annual action plan to the Management team and contribute to defining Company’s roadmap & budget planning (resources, projects, initiatives)
- Represent Pubstack in the industry
- Public speaking at industry events or PR initiatives
- Minimum 2 trips per month are to be expected to attend industry events and customer meetings

In recent years AdTech has become an increasingly complex industry, and publishers have struggled to control or even understand how their ad revenue is being generated off of their content. Pubstack exists to give control back to publishers, offering a platform that analyses the growing tangle of advertising revenue sources and allows companies to make effective decisions based on real-time data.
Pubstack is not alone in this space, counting Roxot, Staq and Google Analytics as competitors. However, Pubstack is unique in that it operates in real time and brings together a more disparate range of data sources, making operational decision making far easier for publishers. It is also based on a recurring SaaS fee rather than revenue sharing model, which is appreciated by publishers for its simplicity and transparency.
Pubstack has raised significant funding and is moving swiftly to grow its team and implement new features in its product. Having already attracted some major clients in France such as Webedia, CCM Benchmark and Group Cerise, it has plans to scale its operations and expand into new European markets in the near future.
