Emotive provides clients with emotionally intelligent messaging services to start conversations around shopping cart abandonment, and promote new products. Its main customers are mid-sized eCommerce businesses on Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, and WooCommerce.
With more and more businesses using text messages as a marketing channel, Emotive saw a gap in the market and created software that could produce texts that feel more like a real human conversation rather than an automated SMS. The result is a 5-10x conversion rate over traditional SMS marketing.
Having invested past funding in development and the building out of its team, the company is now expanding its platform. It recently acquired Bloom Digital, a marketing agency specializing in SMS and email marketing, to improve platform utility and support the launch of "Emotive Attribution" which will help merchants optimize their marketing spend.
