Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in a Senior Engineering role
- Deep Typescript experience, and understanding of Typescript type system
- A track record of learning new languages, frameworks and tools
- Experience with building applications that consume GraphQL APIs
- Interest or experience building SDKs, APIs or Libraries for developers
- A positive attitude, an aptitude for learning, and generally look for solutions instead of focusing only on problems
- Experience being effective working as part of a fully remote team within US Time Zones
- The ability to legally work in the United States
Desirable
- Professional experience with some of the following:
- Development of GraphQL APIs
- Python
- React
- IDE Extension Development
- Have a GitHub or similar that you’re proud to show off
What the job involves
- As we continue to build a world class developer experience for building software integrations, we're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is excited to work as part of a fully remote team building a world class experiences for building software integrations
- This role will have a huge impact in shaping the experience developers have in interacting with our platform as we continue to build and expand the capabilities of the platform
- Design and develop new features, components, and interfaces that extend the functionality of the Prismatic platform while delivering the best possible user & developer experiences
- Discover and advocate for new technologies to accelerate improvements in the reliability and scalability of the Prismatic platform
- Collaborate with other teammates to improve our existing tools and integrate new tools to improve the experience of building our product and increase developer efficiency
- Routinely provide sound feedback in code reviews, design reviews, security reviews, etc
- Coach and mentor less experienced teammates
- Be part of a highly collaborative, fully remote team that ships new code into production every day

Prismatic cuts this wasted time with its ready-for-use integration platform targeted at product development and software engineering teams. As a native integration marketplace, Prismatic’s iPaaS solution spans an integration design platform, integration marketplace, deployment, and support, all through purpose-built cloud technology.
Founded in 2019, Prismatic has received substantial funding, and although it's narrow in its target customer base of B2B SaaS developers, its product proves useful for a lot of a company’s operational wings. Its tools can be used for deployment, configuration, and updates throughout customer-facing teams as well.
Through the past few years, Prismatic has seen notable growth thanks to SaaS teams looking to cut down their development period. Its growth has reportedly outpaced sales and customer acquisition goals whilst funding is being used to grow its platform and further expand its workforce.
