British consumers spend more than £2b annually on recurring subscriptions –and it's estimated that over 60% of adults in Britain are subscribed to the Amazon Prime subscription service alone. Limio aims to change the way companies manage business-to-consumer subscriptions by building the 'Shopify of subscriptions'.
Limio's platform enables companies of all sizes to sell and manage subscriptions globally with little or no code. Subscriptions have notoriously complex logic, which make API documentation hard to understand and forces developers to build a lot of custom-logic which ultimately limits the marketers ability to create new campaigns and trial new strategies.

When I joined Limio I was given lots of opportunity to learn by the team giving me lots of responsibilities. Everyone was helpful if I got stuck and there are also lots of opportunities to learn externally by taking training days

I have noticed that the team works really hard - helping each other out and getting a lot done. They’re working like that consistently- making sure everything is done to a high level.

Everyone is super supportive and accommodating. I felt very welcomed when I first joined as an Integration Engineer. Someone is always available to help you if you need help and communication across the board is very good. There are socials and people generally come across as easy to talk to and the office banter as well as slack banter is top notch.

Limio uses quite a few technologies and although there is no hard requirement to know all of them, it is encouraged to learn them. Limio provides a training budget and also paid training days as incentives to seek out additional learning as well as having an extensive onboarding guide to ensure you are caught up to speed.

Limio has a very good hybrid model of 3 days WFH and 2 days on site. These 2 days are completely up to the individual and you can always start earlier/end later to fit in any commitments like appointments throughout the day. People are very understanding and as long as the work is done will accommodate a lot

The Limio team is great - the best part of the job! Everyone is friendly and collaborative, and is always willing to help out. It's always enjoyable to meet up with the team in the office a couple times a week.

Limio is rapidly growing but has a realistic view of what we can achieve with our current team. Everyone values work-life balance and sets reasonable expectations on what needs to be done. Often at startups its common to work crazy hours or be on-call all the time. We don't have that issue at Limio as we are careful not to overcommit, and plan as much as possible well in advance.

Manageable workload
Mar 2023
Limio is open and honest in a friendly way. Things are transparent and everyone has a platform to explain their point of view. We have biweekly sprint retros and quarterly culture retros to discuss ideas on how we can improve, and we have weekly All Hands meetings to hear updates about weekly achievements, hiring, new customers, and ongoing projects.

At Limio, frequent and well organised check-ins with colleagues and clients keeps everyone in the loop. This is the best place I've worked in terms of transparency, information sharing and a willingness to help each other out.

A really great bunch of people who are kind to each other — a sure sign of intelligence — and are motivated to do good work and get things done. People are also happy to ask for help — another sign of intelligence — and are eager to respond to that request.

All employees are encouraged to discuss issues in public Slack channels for openness and transparency. CEO provides regular updates on company progress in all areas, nothing is private or behind closed doors, and it shows the company really cares about transparency. It’s interesting to hear what is being discussed each week across the team. Achievements, concerns, business growth etc”

When I joined I was made to feel very welcome and the onboarding process was very thoughtful. The team is excellent with a really great level of experience. I have been pushed to develop my skills in my own way, with support available even when people are super busy. On top of that, the product is incredibly interesting and as we are growing the opportunity to get stuck in and learn is massive.
