Role
Who you are
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong phone presence and the ability to engage potential clients effectively
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new applications
- Driven: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. A self-starter with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport quickly and establish strong relationships with potential clients and team members
- Adaptable: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team
- The BDR will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients
- This position is perfect for someone looking to start or advance their career in sales, with plenty of opportunities for growth within our organization
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, industry events, and networking
- Outbound Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media messages to introduce Forma.ai's solutions and generate interest
- Qualifying Leads: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand the needs and pain points of potential clients, qualifying them as sales opportunities
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handover of qualified leads
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions with potential clients in the CRM system
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to follow up on inbound leads and with the sales team to refine outreach strategies
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and sales techniques to continuously improve outreach efforts
