What the job involves
- As a Product Designer at Givingli, you'll be instrumental in crafting trustworthy and delightful user experiences as we shape the future of gifting
- You'll participate in every aspect of the design process, and contribute significantly to our product development cycle, from conception to launch, specifically on our desktop platform
- Be responsible for the design of Givingli’s web platform; helping users find and customize content relevant to them and providing a delightful and intuitive experience for recipients
- Own and lead the end-to-end design process from whiteboard sketching to high fidelity final treatment and subsequent launch
- Help ideate on and define web roadmap with Product Managers and Stakeholders
- Closely collaborate with other designers to develop a design design system that will be used to create a consistent user experience across mobile to web
- Deep expertise in UI/UX craft; passion for visual design, interaction details, typography, and pixel perfect deliverables
Our take
An exorbitant amount of paper and plastic waste is produced each year from discarded greeting and gift cards. Waste-free options like ecards and online gifting remain impersonal and vastly overlooked by consumers.
Givingly sets out to bring the tailored touch to online cards and gifts, with its app that allows users to send customized digital cards alongside digital gift cards, physical gifts, or flexible gift cash.
With a premise that grants it automatic eco-credentials, Givingly is likely to benefit from peaked consumer interest in sustainability, whilst also catering to the trend towards personalization in gifting. The company has raised substantial funds that will enable it to rise to meet increasing demand as it also moves to deliver heightened value to its existing community.
