Patient Communication & Health Content Lead, EQL

• Proven experience creating or editing healthcare content for patient audiences
• Strong understanding of health literacy principles and patient communication best practice
• Ability to translate complex clinical information into clear, accessible language
• Excellent writing and editing skills with high attention to detail
• Experience managing content workflows, editorial processes, or content production at scale
• Strong understanding of clinical accuracy, safety language, and risk awareness in patient communication
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and clinical teams

Desirable

• Own and oversee all patient-facing communication across the Phio platform
• Ensure content is clear, consistent, clinically accurate, and accessible
• Lead the editorial production process for Phio Prevent, including planning, editing, and commissioning content
• Establish and maintain editorial standards for tone, readability, and patient safety
• Review and improve product copy across triage, treatment, and outcome journeys
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to integrate content effectively into the user experience
• Work with clinical teams to ensure all content is accurate, approved, and aligned with best practice
• Support the development of educational and behaviour-change content across the digital care pathway
• Coordinate and contribute to multimedia content such as videos, expert interviews, and interactive formats
• Drive consistency in voice and communication across all Phio products
