With a suite of products ranging from complex FX risk management and trade finance to integrated API solutions, we are the strategic engine behind some of the world’s most ambitious firms
- As a Key Account Director for Defence, you will lead the charge in this high-stakes vertical, navigating C-suite relationships to deliver sophisticated treasury and hedging solutions
- The Defence industry operates on long-term cycles, massive capital outlays, and intricate global supply chains and your approach should reflect this
- You aren't just hitting targets—you are a role model on our London floor, mentoring the next generation of talent and setting the gold standard for how Ebury dominates the market
- Strategic Origination: Identify and onboard Tier-1 prospects within the Defence and Aerospace sectors
- Solution Architecting: Move beyond "spot trades." You will sell complex FX hedging strategies, cash management, and trade finance solutions tailored to long-cycle defense contracts
- C-Suite Navigation: Build and leverage high-level relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Directors, understanding their specific budgeting and risk appetite
- Sector Advocacy: Act as the internal "Defence Expert," providing feedback to Product teams to ensure Ebury’s roadmap remains the best-in-class for this sector
- Excellence in Execution: Maintain a rigorous pipeline via Salesforce, ensuring a culture of data-driven sales and superior relationship management

Our take
Ebury provides foreign exchange, money transfer and other currency services to small and medium businesses and their banking partners. Demand for its services is increasing in a world that's becoming more globalised, with SMEs trading internationally as well as in their domestic market.
Ebury serves more than 45,000 clients a day and processes over $21 Billion of transactions a year. Investment from Santander in 2020 provided Ebury access to Santander's huge SME customer base, assisting it in a huge period of international growth. This has fuelled the company's global expansion, operating in 21 countries.
There is a lot of competition for these customers, with fast-growing companies like Adyen, Monzo, Revolut and Transferwise going after this market in Europe. Gaining distribution, as it has done in Brazil through a partnership with global payments provider Nium, will give Ebury an edge as it continues to expand.
