Role
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally in software products
- Your verbal and written communication skills are excellent in English
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture
- Experience with prototyping tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- You are proactive and eager to learn and able to work both independently and in a team
- You feel comfortable in a relatively young and fast growing organization with a turbulent and ambitious work environment where we all go the extra mile to exceed customer expectations and make an impact
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing Product team
- As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the design direction of our products, from conception to execution.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive design solutions
- Lead the design process for new features and products, from concept ideation to final implementation
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize design initiatives
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
- Time - 40 hours p/week ⏱️

Our take
Nowadays, procurement processes require increasingly complex documentation, and the bidding process can be very repetitive. This wastes the time of teams that must re-enter the same information for every new proposal - which is what Altura hopes to address.
Altura enables teams to scrape data analysis and insights from pre-existing bids and proposals and use this information in the management of future bids. Ultimately, this means that teams can focus on strategy and highlighting value as opposed to the manual tasks of preparing a bid, as well as inform from past failure and success.
Process automation for companies isn’t exactly a new idea, but Altura’s focus on procurement processes gives them an attractive market niche. It’s early days for the company, but it already has European clients across a variety of industries and is using its early-stage funding to fine-tune its product and bring on new hires.
