Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of design experience across digital and brand, with depth across UI, UX, and graphic design
- A big ideas, creative thinker with the portfolio to prove it
- Fluent in AI-powered design tools and building AI workflows
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite across Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- High attention to detail, able to balance speed with quality output
- Comfortable working autonomously, juggling competing priorities and collaborating cross-functionally across a fast-moving business
- Bonus points for motion and animation (Lottie, After Effects) experience
What the job involves
- We want to build a brand people are proud to be part of, complete with a user experience that’s as good as our product
- This role is crucial to making that happen
- Everything visual that goes out under the Honest name will have your fingerprints on it, from our app and website to emails, paid ads and social
- You’ll shape how we look and feel at every touchpoint
- You'll set the standard across the business, showing the world what a network doing things differently actually looks and feels like
- This role is more than executing on a brief
- You’ll bring creativity, big ideas and obsessive attention to detail to everything you touch
- Own visual output including app, website, emails, paid ads and social
- Develop, own and scale our AI design system so it grows with the business and accelerates output
- Constantly raise the bar of what excellent design looks like across every touchpoint, establishing processes for consistent, high-quality work
- Work with marketing to deliver high-performing creative campaigns, paid social ads and landing pages (including building and shipping with AI)
- Work with tech and marketing to level up our app and website, turning product features and data into slick user experiences that double up as hero creative in ads and landing pages
- Use AI as a core part of how you work, from ideation to execution, and bring that pace to everything you produce

Our take
Honest Mobile was launched in response to seeing a gap in the modern market for mobiles. Mobile networks were lagging behind, set in their old ways with complicated contracts, overcharging, and keeping customers on hold -being the norm.
To challenge this, the company built Honest Mobile from the ground up to create a better mobile network for customers and the planet. With £150k in funding, Honest Mobile has created the first carbon-neutral mobile network where customers can float between networks. And on top of this, its a registered B-Corporation and plants trees on behalf of its customers.
The mobile industry has many established players who have already spent time dealing with the challenges that Honest Mobile currently faces, like price competitiveness, WiFi functionality, and rural coverage. However, by aiming to capitalise on the consumer trend of eco-consciousness, which many of the existing companies in this space neglect, Honest Mobile aims to grow its customer base. Its performance on Seedrs, an equity crowdfunding platform for startups where it raised more than £3M in an oversubscribed campaign, shows that it is clearly gaining traction in the market.
With sustainability at the core of its mission, the company has released the UK's first recycled SIMs – made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. Honest Mobile's next step? Getting get rid of SIMs altogether!
