Vice President of Analytics, ZAGENO

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline; advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or PhD) preferred
• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace operations
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling analytics functions
• Proven leadership managing cross-functional, high-performing teams
• Deep business acumen with a demonstrated ability to translate data into impact
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced startup
• Or scale-up environment
• Based in Boston or willing to relocate to the Boston metropolitan area

• We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Analytics to build and lead ZAGENO’s analytics function during a pivotal phase of growth
• This high-impact role reports directly to the CEO and partners closely with the executive team
• You will develop and execute our analytics vision, harness data from across our marketplace, and convert insights into business outcomes that drive value for both internal stakeholders and external customers
• You will also be responsible for building a team, setting standards, and championing a culture of data-driven decision-making company-wide
• Define and prioritize high-impact analytics and AI use cases

• Design and oversee the development of
• AI and analytics applications, including GenAI solutions, optimization, and analytics engines for key business functions
• Build and lead a high-performing team of analysts and data scientists
• Partner cross-functionally with growth, product, operations, and customer success teams to embed AI and analytics into day-to-day decision-making
• Deliver actionable insights to the executive team to guide strategic priorities and operational excellence
• Uncover and quantify improvement areas and growth opportunities
• Establish and maintain a “single source of truth” on business performance; oversee the development of dashboards, KPIs, and decision-support systems
• Promote and embed a culture of data fluency and evidence-based decision-making across the organization
