Senior Accountant, EverCommerce

• The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and equity accounting
• Experience with equity administration is preferred but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation (or actively pursuing CPA) preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience is preferred
• Strong experience with: General ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience accounting for stock-based compensation and equity transactions
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP (IFRS knowledge is an asset)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team
• This role is responsible for supporting the month-end close process, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and ensuring accurate accounting for equity-related transactions
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for assigned areas
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
• Analyze account fluctuations and investigate variances
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting
• Assist with annual audits and other compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Prepare accounting entries related to stock-based compensation under ASC 718
• Account for equity transactions including stock options, RSUs and ESPP
• Prepare equity roll-forward schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures related to equity compensation
• Support external valuation specialists and auditors during reporting cycles
• Assist with administration of the company's equity plans and equity management platform
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, Payroll, and external service providers
• Maintain equity award records and employee transactions
• Support employee equity inquiries
• Participate in special projects, acquisitions, and system/process improvements
• Research technical accounting matters as needed
• Support cross-functional initiatives across Finance, Payroll, HR, and Legal. \
