Who you are

5+ years of sales experience with a strong B2B sales track record, preferably with SaaS experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
You’ve sold across the entire sales cycle
Experience in a startup / scale-up environment (10-50 person company) is preferred
A love for working in a fast-paced, thriving environment
You are confident, have excellent storytelling skills and the ability to explain the complex in a simple way, so anyone can understand you
Excellent presentation and communication skills with both customers and colleagues
Proficiency with sales technology such as CRM, prospecting platforms, LinkedIn Navigator and similar
Bonus: knowledge of the electric vehicle or energy industries

What the job involves

Taking complete leadership of the sales pipeline and bring in new strategic customers and partners
Take a hands-on approach to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing deals
Taking ownership of the sales KPIs with a goal to continuously grow the sales funnel
Working directly with the Co-Founders of the company to define our sales strategy and provide regular reports on sales activity, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance
Leverage sales tools such as Outreach, Cognism, and LinkedIn Navigator to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Build and maintain long-term relationships with world renowned automakers and energy brands

Our take

Volteras supplies powerful AI-driven analytics for the owners of electric vehicle fleets, to enable them to gain insights into charging patterns and environmental impact, so that they can take actions to optimise operations for cost and emissions.

The company hopes to accelerate the transition to greener transport by supplying the tools that their clients need to adapt. For example, its interactive visualisations implement real-world driving conditions, creating the opportunity to make better-informed changes to fleet management.

Volteras enjoyed a Series A fundraise in 2025, which will go some way to cementing its position in the EV analytics market. As EV popularity continues to rise, it will use this capital to advance its technology capabilities and expand its global partnerships.
