Who you are

Have 5+ years of experience building B2B or B2C SaaS products, preferably in fintech or the financial services domain
Experience working with modern frontend tech (e.g. React) with a strong grasp on the fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS) as well as building backend APIs with frameworks like Rails or Django, ORMs and SQL databases
Enjoy thinking about systems and their life cycles, edge cases, interactions, and failure modes
A growth mindset in your career & an extreme level of ownership over the work you do
Strong sense of ownership and enjoy working on projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, high autonomy environment

What the job involves

Lead & participate in building products end to end, from helping to scope projects to measuring their success and iterating quickly based on user feedback
Build and iterate on our GTM architecture, signup flows, and services responsible for onboarding new customers
Design, implement, and maintain the APIs & user-facing experiences core to our business and growth strategy
Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and reliability

Our take

The complications of payments within the trucking and transportation industry are immense, with drivers and companies having to deal with fees, spending limits, and credit scores every day. Drivers must also frequently deal with the costs associated with repairs, insurance, and road tolls, and this can quickly become difficult to manage for both drivers and employers.

AtoB is setting out to change this. The company develops payment infrastructure for trucking and transportation industries, providing drivers with fuel cards that offer truck stop and gas station discounts, without service fees or credit score checks. In addition to these employee benefits, the company also provides fintech solutions for transportation employers to track their drivers' transactions, set spending limits, and gain insights into financial inefficiencies.

There has been growing investment into digitising the transportation sector, which makes for a competitive market. That said, AtoB has raised impressive funding which will support the expansion of innovation efforts and its continued growth.
