Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of sales, account management or customer success experience with a track record of taking on new projects, closing sales accounts, and delighting customers (Experience working in a fast paced startup or hospitality environment is a plus)
- Familiarity with G-Suite, Hubspot, Zendesk, Intercom and other software tools
- Comfortable working on new initiatives and owning new projects
- Experience understanding our customers wants and needs, setting expectations and providing feedback to our product team
- “Get it done” attitude with passion about building something great with a great team. There is a reason this job description is vague!
- Experience and connections in the golf or private club industry preferred
What the job involves
- Directly responsible for the buildout and implementation of POC (proof of concept) environments
- Maintain and ship hardware for POCs
- Provide ongoing customer support via email and phone channels
- Serve as the Whoosh subject matter expert during and after the POC process
- Assist the account executives in updating system configurations and setting up workflows during and after the POC process
- Schedule training sessions with customers to ensure clubs are knowledgeable and able to use the product to its full potential
- Collect bugs/support related issues, help troubleshoot, and escalate to the Engineering and Product Team accordingly

Whoosh provides a golf club operations software platform, providing businesses with cloud-based tablet-centric software systems to allow staff members to manage golf courses and member experiences in real-time away from indoor counters. The platform also provides staff-to-staff and staff-to-member communication tools, streamlined business workflow tools, and the resources required to personalize every member's experience.
Whilst golf club operational management platforms are nothing new, Whoosh has recognized how indoor counter-based systems isolate staff from their customers, providing a fully remote system to allow employees to be more present in the members’ experiences. The company also claims that optimizing workflows and personalizing membership experiences, it can help businesses retain their members and scale their revenue.
