Role
Who you are
- Self-starter who can thrive independently and in team settings
- Strong client-facing experience, ideally within the Defense Industrial Base (partnerships, or customer success)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (certified or eager to certify)
- Senior-level experience in technical roles (software engineering, sales engineering, technical product management) with proven problem-solving skills
- Hands-on software development, networking, or DevOps experience with cloud technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure environments
Desirable
- Prior experience in a federal/government-facing solutions architect role
- Strong track record supporting complex enterprise SaaS customers
- Experience communicating and influencing at all levels of an organization
- Cybersecurity knowledge or certifications (e.g., Security+)
- Familiarity with 2F’s tech stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Istio, Git, GitLab, Terraform, relational databases
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices
- Active Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
- Ability to travel up to 25%

- You will be at the forefront of driving the technical adoption and scaling of our revolutionary Game Warden platform—an industry-leading tool accelerating the secure adoption of mission-critical SaaS solutions for the U.S. Government
- We are growing quickly and need an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to play a key role in helping to secure future growth and partnership initiatives
- The SA will represent 2F as a technical SME during customer-facing engagements and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, customer success, business development, and government engagement teams
- As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will drive technical engagements with CEOs, CTOs, engineering directors, and software engineers, inspiring confidence in our team and products throughout the entire customer journey
- Serve as a key member of the Mission Success team, owning technical aspects of direct customer engagements
- Participate in go-to-market efforts including customer calls, technical presentations, upsell opportunities, product demos, architecture design sessions, and technical workshops
- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Second Front products and represent 2F internally and externally as a trusted SME
- Track customer feedback and engage with product teams to align roadmaps with demand signals
- Support business development efforts by developing/reviewing marketing content (blogs, posts, technical documentation)

Our take
It goes without saying that national security is of extremely high importance and billions of relevant currencies are fuelled into achieving the highest standards each year. Second Front Systems fast-tracks government access to disruptive, commercially-proven, SaaS applications for national security missions.
Founded in 2014 by two former U.S. Marines, they used experience of outdated technology and systems to power the company's national security mission. Since its founding, Second Front has developed a DevSecOps platform and several AWS GovCloud solutions.
As the company grows, its impact is now reaching far beyond the US. A bridging mission, to align how allied nations deploy, secure, and accredit critical software, is starting to take concrete form, with ten customers preparing to deploy onto the upcoming AWS European Sovereign Cloud through Game Warden. By helping ISVs inherit key controls and meet strict standards, Second Front is creating a practical pathway for secure software to operate seamlessly across US, UK, and European environments.
