Who you are

College student graduating in Spring/Summer of 2024 with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, C#, Javascript)
(Preferred) Regularly participate in CTF, bug bounty hunting, and hackathons (bonus points if you share your BugCrowd/HackerOne profiles)
Are comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage company environments

What the job involves

We are looking to hire an Application Security Engineer to join our growing Security Team
This is a hands-on role, working on both SeatGeek’s codebase and in the AWS cloud environment
This role will be involved with a mix of bug hunting, automation, bug triaging, and incident response
You'll be part of a team developing a modern AppSec program with a highly automated approach to security coupled with a collaborative approach to working with Engineering partners
Identify and fix bugs in our production codebase
Develop automation to enhance bug triage and remediation
Analyze security vulnerabilities and advise on mitigation
Participate in red team and blue team exercises
Tune our scanning tools to increase their accuracy
