- 4+ years of experience as a backend developer through the full development lifecycle
- Simple by design: Ability to design, build, and scale high-quality software and systems that strike the right balance between simplicity, flexibility, scalability, and security
- Guiding execution: The projects you are working on are complex and sometimes multi-faceted. They will require strong technical skills but also soft skills. You should be able to influence and drive the team and your work to deliver excellence in a predictable time
- Code quality: A passion for code quality and a drive to constantly improving it
- Cloud native: Comfortable operating in a cloud environment, using serverless, application containerization, infrastructure as code
What the job involves
- As a Senior Backend Engineer on our Builder Guidance team, you will be working with internal and external stakeholders, product managers, and designers to execute Ada’s roadmap which will help us drive faster in accomplishing automated resolutions
- This team works closely with our Machine Learning department
- Help make our ambitious Ada product roadmap a reality through the implementation of features and new integrations as part of a stream-aligned team
- Review the team’s code, provide insightful feedback, foster collaborative community and teach everyone something new
- Be an integral member of the team to contribute to our product ideation process, work to spot improvements, increase the quality of code and brainstorm new opportunities
- Ensure the team is providing a scalable and maintainable platform for integrations
