Role
Who you are
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Urban Science and Informatics, or related field
- 2 years of experience as a Data Science Manager, Sr. Data Scientist, Data Scientist, Statistician, or similar duties under a different job title
- 2 years of experience in the following:
- Programming in R or Python
- Using Apache Spark with application to machine learning or ETL pipelines
- Linux or Unix; git and github.com
- Implementing predictive modelling using at least 3 of the following: scikit-learn, xgboost, Spark ML, or H2O.ai
- 1 year of experience with AWS S3

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Data Science Manager to join our team
- In this role, you will work with the Product team, Project Management team, and Senior Director of Data Science to plan and strategize data-science-driven solutions for the company’s business goals; draft and review business requirement documents; contribute to data science project plans

- Implement industry-leading predictive-modelling solutions in support of the company’s syndicated products, and to enable managed service work
- Manage a Data Scientist, including assist in hiring and onboarding, set personal goals, conduct semi-annual performance reviews, track progress regularly via one-on-one meetings, and provide advice and mentoring on all relevant projects and work
- Monitor security risks and implications of access to certain types of data
- Test and augment the functionality of algorithms, both in isolation and within a production-style pipeline
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Analytics Team to fulfil their managed service client deliverables
Our take
New streaming platforms and CTV provide novel data, with great potential to improve advertising engagement. However, information such as how many times an ad was aired and watched, whether viewers were captivated, and how relevant it is to their viewing preferences can still be difficult to access.
iSpot provides an ad measurement platform for TV, streaming platforms, and DSPs, allowing businesses to measure the success of their marketing campaigns in real time. The platform provides information such as brand recognition, purchase intent, likeability, and audience relevance, allowing businesses to benchmark this information against competitors.
Whilst other marketing platforms tackle similar obstacles, iSpot uniquely categorizes its data into insights that are easily understood and actioned. The company has ensured that its services are integrated with other 300 major streaming platforms and DSPs, futureproofing itself for the new wave of TV viewers, and in 2026 launched an agentic AI platform to augment its offering.
