Who you are
- Experience in Client Success, Account Management, or similar role within the financial services or SaaS industry, managing enterprise or advisor relationships
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively engage with clients in verbal, written, and presentation formats
- Proven ability to deepen client relationships, leading to high retention rates and business growth
- Enthusiasm for advisor-driven solutions and a client-first mindset
- Experience with wealth management, advisory services, or financial technology (FinTech) is preferred
- Knowledge of ZenDesk, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools
- Familiarity with investment management or financial advisory practices

- Betterment Advisor Solutions provides a cutting-edge platform for financial advisors seeking innovative ways to enhance their wealth management services
- We are currently looking for an Advisor Success Manager to build and nurture relationships with advisors using the Betterment platform
- In this role, you will partner directly with advisors to ensure seamless onboarding, optimize platform usage, and support the growth of their wealth management practices
- This is a client-facing role where you will leverage your relationship management skills to help advisors succeed in serving their clients
- You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to advisor clients
- Cultivate and expand relationships with a growing book of financial advisor clients
- Align with advisors on their business objectives and support them in delivering enhanced value to their end clients
- Partner with internal teams, including sales, operations, support, and product, to ensure a smooth ongoing experience for existing advisors and assist them with adopting new products & features
- Provide training, education, and ongoing support to advisors, empowering them to maximize the Betterment platform
- Proactively identify and address client risks, strategizing ways to mitigate churn and strengthen advisor relationships
- Represent the voice of the advisor to internal stakeholders, contributing insights that influence product development and enhancements
- Serve as a main point of contact for support issues, questions, and escalations
- Support advisors in growing their client base by delivering insights, tools, and best practices to optimize their use of Betterment’s platform and services

- In the interview process, we’ll look to learn more about your skills, experiences, capabilities, and motivators
- Many of our questions will be aimed at understanding how you might operate here at Betterment
- Depending on the role, we may ask you to complete a case study exercise or technical assessments, as we want to collect a robust set of data points to better inform our decisions
- On average, it takes us around 3-5 weeks to make a hiring decision, depending on your availability and sense of urgency
- As a best practice, we aim to interview at least 2-3 final round candidates before making a hiring decision
