Technical Program Manager, Figma

• Taken large-scale AI / ML programs from 0 to 1
• Deep technical understanding of machine learning algorithms, model training and launching AI experiences
• 4+ years of technical program management experience
• Ability to find the balance between driving in a scrappy manner vs structured program management. Getting results!
• Expertise in organizing and driving complex initiatives like multi-team product launches and multi-quarter platform migrations
• Experience operating in ambiguity, shepherding product, process, and/or engineering programs from concept to completion
• The ability to form close, effective stakeholder relationships and manage competing priorities and incentives

Desirable

• As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll work closely with our AI Experiences and ML Platform team in driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI features and ML platforms
• You will collaborate closely with xfn teams including engineering, data science, and product management to define and execute the roadmap for our AI initiatives
• You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities into Figma's platform, managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from initial concept through to production deployment
• Your responsibilities will include coordinating large-scale experiments, optimizing model performance, oversight on vendor contract management and ensuring robust and scalable AI solutions
• As a key member of the team, you will also be instrumental in driving innovation, establishing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in AI and ML at Figma
• The mission of the Engineering TPM team is to drive Figma’s most important cross-company engineering efforts, and we are looking for a Technical Program Manager to partner with our Tech org on AI/ML-related initiatives
• The TPM provides oversight of the most important efforts that require coordinated technical execution across the Org in order to succeed. AI / ML continues to be our top focus
• These large-scale efforts will involve collaboration across numerous product and platform engineering teams & xfn stakeholders, prioritization, decision making, tracking execution & driving operational excellence
