Who you are

  • If you’re proactive, people-focused, and excited to make a real impact across the organization, we’d love to meet you
  • Around 3 years of experience in HR administration, people operations, or a similar people-focused role — ideally in a fast-paced (scale-up) environment
  • A proactive, energetic, and service-oriented mindset — you like to stay one step ahead and make things easier for others
  • Native-level Dutch and fluent English
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Calendar, Sheets, and Docs
  • Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and able to handle sensitive information with care
  • Based in the Amsterdam area and available to work from the office five days a week

What the job involves

  • We’re looking for a People & Workplace Coordinator who is passionate about creating a great employee experience from day one
  • In this role, you’ll support the employee journey from onboarding to offboarding, ensure HR administration runs smoothly, and play a key part in building an engaging and supportive team culture
  • You'll also act as a trusted go-to for employees and help create a positive, well-organized work environment — both in person and behind the scenes
  • Support key HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, and maintaining accurate employee records
  • Track and report on absenteeism (sick leave, vacation, special leave) and ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with company policies
  • Help drive employee engagement by working with the Culture Crew to organize team events, company moments, and initiatives that strengthen our culture
  • Provide hands-on support to our leadership team with scheduling, meeting planning, travel logistics, and follow-ups
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, helping to ensure everyone has what they need to do their best work
  • Coordination of office-related matters as needed, such as supplies and liaison with the building — always with a focus on keeping things smooth and simple

Our take

Consistent communication between frontline and office workforces is essential for an enterprise to thrive, and digital tools and platforms are often used to make this happen. However, when attempting to provide tools for communication, task management, onboarding and more, software stacks quickly become convoluted, fragmented, and frustrating.

Speakap develops a digital workplace for frontline and office workers to collaborate on, particularly focussing on integrating all essential tools within the same place in the form of a social media platform. The platform provides features for many scenarios such as task management, scheduling and onboarding, but also facilitates integration with existing tools such as Salesforce, Office 365 and Workday.

Whilst the concept of creating a digital workplace to increase communication and engagement within enterprise workforces is nothing new, Speakap has taken a unique stance by focussing on accessibility. By combining the social media presentation of the platform with the all-in-one toolkit and external tool integration, the company has provided an end-to-end SaaS which ensures all scenarios can be handled within the same place, by any employee.
