Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 1+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience. ‘Coding experience, 1-2 years preferred (Ruby, Python, Java, Node.js, PHP)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, and interpreting requests/responses
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle communication with multiple internal teams
- Ability to tailor technical communication with all levels of customer understanding
- Willingness to adapt to an evolving work environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time against timelines
- Sense of urgency to drive customer progress
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer facing experience with a customer first attitude
What the job involves
- The Solutions Engineer II will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the sales and technical teams within the organization
- Primary responsibilities will be to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate how the company's products or services can address the specific challenges faced by clients
- You will collaborate closely with the sales team, product managers, and technical teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of solutions
- This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to build strong relationships with customers and provide valuable insights to support the sales process
- Learn the Concise API
- Support Concise API customers. Handle both incoming emails and phone calls to make sure customers are supported with quick feedback
- Work closely with the Concise Engineering team to scope potential new projects and opportunities
- Work with the Concise Engineering team to support the Concise Dashboard customers
- Handle new carrier onboarding with customers
- Help support EasyPost core API clients
- Work closely with the CSM team to find new opportunities of growth within each account
- Make sure customers stay on task and go live in a timely manner
- Manage multiple projects at one time while still finding a way to provide a personal touch to each client they interact with
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Find ways to help reduce the time from sign to live and handle larger capacities by working with the product team to develop new tools
- Make sure to set appropriate expectations which can include having difficult conversations about expectations that came from the sales process
- Maintain customer data i.e. contacts, account health, significant events, etc. in company supported CRM.
- Collect data from our customers to give back to EasyPost to understand where EasyPost can improve and where we are succeeding

EasyPost's multi-carrier shipping API provides eCommerce businesses with seamless solutions to manage logistics. The platform allows companies to easily switch between shipping providers, track packages, and verify addresses. Saving businesses time and money and in turn, simplifying what would otherwise be a complex process.
When EasyPost emerged from stealth in 2013, it was widely recognised as the "Stripe for shipping". A comparison stemming from the company's ability to enable developers to integrate postage and shipping features into web applications. Which, at the time, was something legacy carriers like FedEx and UPS weren't taking advantage of.
As e-commerce has grown, EasyPost has expanded its reach and is now available in over 200 countries. It now offers Amazon Shipping, cementing its position as a market leader.
