What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Representative at Octus, you will be instrumental to the growth of our business in the Americas. You’ll drive new business by prospecting and building relationships with investors and credit market professionals. The SDR role will provide you with the foundational experience to be able to hit and surpass your goals. Octus offers professional development programs and a career path for top-performing SDRs, with an opportunity to advance to a quota-carrying Account Executive role
- Identify new opportunities based on key profiles in target accounts
- Collaborate with and support our Account Executives in identifying new business opportunities, territory mapping, booking meetings, and assisting with trial conversions
- Conduct consistent email, phone, and social outreach to connect with new prospects
- Engage with prospects to articulate Octus' value proposition, using discovery and objection-handling techniques to speak knowledgeably with investment professionals and build interest in our products
- Book meetings and log all activities in our CRM, Salesforce
- Consistently achieve or surpass your monthly KPIs
