What the job involves
- We’re on a mission to bridge the gap between what users do and why they do it. Our Session Replay product sits at the heart of this mission, blending qualitative insight with quantitative clarity to help teams make smarter, faster decisions
- As a Senior Product Manager in our Session Replay team, you will build and ship awesome features, delight customers, and craft winning strategies to shape the future of Session Replay at Amplitude
- Discover customer insights, define the strategy, and build a roadmap for key aspects of session replay
- Own and drive key product metrics for your area, connecting the team’s bets to business outcomes
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and key initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales and services teams to assist with complex customer engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and support, to gather customer insights, define product strategy, and prioritize the product roadmap

Our take
Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand user behaviour. Product, marketing, and growth teams use Amplitude to discover and share insights about user engagement, retention, and revenue.
Amplitude’s user flows reveal which actions are the most commonly taken after users sign up, and which usually precede purchases made in-app, creating paths through the app. The behaviour of individual app users can be viewed with unlimited real-time activity feeds and user timelines.
Thousands of companies use Amplitude analytics including Microsoft, Under Armour, Intuit, Twitter, Bonobos, Peloton, and many more. In 2024, a securities fraud case was filed against Amplitude due to an IPO and stock share rise that was alleged to be artificially inflated before their downturn in 2022. Whilst this case is ongoing, Amplitude is still releasing new products and operating at full capacity.
