Role
Who you are
- 1+ years of professional experience with a strong focus on front-end development
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces
- Solid knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and ability to integrate front-end components with back-end services
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Desirable
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
What the job involves
- Front-end Development: Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React based on designs agreed with leadership and product team(s)
- User Experience (UX): Collaborate with designers and product managers to create engaging and intuitive user experiences that meet user needs and business requirements
- Full Stack Development: Work on both front-end and back-end components of our web applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Web Application Architecture: Contribute to the architectural design and implementation of scalable, modular, and maintainable web applications, following best practices and coding standards
- API Integration: Integrate with back-end APIs and services to retrieve and manipulate data, ensuring efficient and secure communication between front-end and back-end systems
- Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free code
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and share knowledge with the team. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the performance and user experience of our applications
