Role
Who you are
- Extensive experience with at least one of the languages in our tech stack: Java, Springboot, Node.JS, TypeScript /JavaScript, Python
- Extensive experience of software testing best practices (TDD, BDD)
- Extensive experience of using version control (Git, Github)
- Experience with common software architectures (OOP, MVC) and database solutions
- Experience with principles of continuous integration and deployment
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Openness to new technologies and willingness to keep learning
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Desirable
- Experience with more than one of the languages in our technology stack
- Experience in agile ways of working and the associated tools
- Experience with web accessibility requirements and associated tooling
What the job involves
- Deliver high quality software through the agile process
- Assisting with writing bids
- Communicate with non-technical stakeholders, and be able to explain technical issues to them
- Be part of the architectural design of projects
- Be a point of knowledge for less experienced developers
- Participate in community events such as Hackathons
