Who you are
- You’ve had previous experience as a Product Manager in 2+ SaaS companies or companies selling a software product
- You love data and can analyze, interpret and decide based on data confidently
- You have a strong sense of ownership over the product you are working on
- You have incredible problem solving skills that allow you to dive into a topic quickly and identify the root cause that needs to be solved
- You have a strong affinity to align you decisions with your stakeholders, the company strategy and set product strategy items.
- You are great in stakeholder management, bringing together the right people to ensure alignment and effective decision making
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
What the job involves
- As the Product Manager for our CRM/Marketing team, you will be responsible for devising the effective tools for our photographers to communicate with, nurture and engage with their customer base
- As this will be a new team for us, you’ll have the opportunity to build out the CRM/Marketing practice, whilst collaborating with the wider cross-functional Product and Engineering teams in the meantime
- Being in touch with our customers to identify, understand and validate how they would like to engage with their clients to strengthen their relationships and maximize revenue
- Advocating for initiatives and approaches with top management
- Owning and prioritizing the product roadmap for your assigned topics
- Defining and executing rollout plans
- Defining and performing user acceptance testing of features
- Liaising with stakeholders across our company
- Defining new processes with the other product managers
- Ensuring alignment on topics across multiple development teams
- Ensuring great relationships with our customers and focus group members for direct market feedback
- Traveling to industry events to contribute to market knowledge
- You’ll be support by some our wonderful Product Leader - Nicole Kovach, Alexandra Denisova and Nils Hoffmann
Our take
Taking professional photos for events and schools is as much an exercise in administration as it is in photography, with a gruelling and largely manual workload of organising photos, taking payments and shipping out prints eating into a photographer's time. GotPhoto exists to make this process much easier, automating promotions, sales and fulfillment, freeing the photographer to focus on their core business.
Considered the leader in its market, GotPhoto has amassed a customer base of about 4000 small-medium business and sole trader clients across the UK, US and DACH regions. While the company has had strong growth in recent years it still has a large market to grow into, with around 70% of volume photographers still relying on manual systems, and a core market growing by 25% year on year as these photographers start to look to the benefits of automation for their businesses.
GotPhoto was acquired by EQT Growth in 2023, providing investment into the platform's development and adding new features. It will also be able to tap its parent company's commercial connections as it aims to grow its lead in an estimated $5 billion market.
