Who you are

7 years+ experience in growth teams, with an emphasis in fast-growth d2c startups
Evidence of finding creative & profitable routes to growth
Deep experience with ecommerce digital marketing (paid social, PPC, SEO)
Comfortable building a growth model in Excel/GSheets

Desirable

Good understanding of customer segmentation best practices
Experience running experiments cross-functionally
Track record of working closely with product teams to deliver digital product experiences that go beyond CRO

What the job involves

Act as a core part of the leadership team - collaborating with the Founder & CEO as well as brand, operations and product leadership
Find the big ideas to deliver a step change in our growth strategy, collaborating cross-functionally with brand, tech and product
Create and deliver the Life Supplies growth plan, responsible for setting KPIs to achieve our ambitious targets
Use data to extract actionable insights that drive growth strategy
Lead on experimentation, owning the planning, testing and optimising of all growth marketing channels
Roll your sleeves up in the early days as you build out a growth team
Hire and develop growth team as the business scales
Embed a culture of growth into Life Supplies

Our take

Refillable beauty products were big on the market in the '90s from brands like The Body Shop and Faith in Nature. Now they’re having a resurgence, as modern customers are looking to cut down on their use of plastics. Mainstream brands like Aldi and Asda are trialling in-store refill stations, and consumer appetite is reported to be up across the board. So Life Supplies is set to launch at a great market moment.

Whilst the company is still in stealth mode, it’s promising to tackle the issue of spent plastic bottles from bathroom products. Life Supplies’ solution is plant-based refillable containers - but beyond that it’s holding its cards close to its chest, other than to suggest that the concept will be extended to other products in future.

This means it’s tough to tell how Life Supplies intends to differentiate itself from bathroom refillable providers like, for example, Plaine Products, fiils, or indeed The Body Shop.
